The Hutchinson Electrical Training Academy's goal is to provide the Electrical Construction Industry with the most highly trained and skilled workforce possible.  In addition to receiving skill training on the job, each apprentice is provided with trade-related classroom training that produces competency and pride that lead to true craftsmanship.  Hands-on training helps provide support for classroom lectures and discussions.

This program is a 5-year training program with standards approved by the State of Kansas. It requires that each apprentice receive a minimum 8,000 hours of on-the-job training in the electrical construction industry with the supervision of a journeyman electrician. While in the Training Program apprentices are required to attend 900 hours of classroom related instruction.
